EMDR Therapy Intensives

Heal Faster. Live Freer. Lead Stronger.

Therapy Intensives for

High-Achieving Women

You’re used to leading. You’re used to holding it together — for your team, your family, your community.

You love what you do. But you’re tired of the silent cost.

The cost of always being the strong one. The cost of showing up for everyone else while your own healing is on pause.

The cost of carrying old wounds that leadership can’t outrun.

EMDR Therapy Intensives are designed

for women like you

Intensives are a powerful therapeutic approach that condenses years of therapy — helping you build momentum, reduce stress, and accelerate healing in shorter periods. Yes, I said it- heal faster!

Your story deserves more than survival.

It deserves healing — and I can help you get there.

I'm an Afro Caribbean Therapist here in NY and I love trauma work. I'm honored to support high-achieving women — especially Black women — resolve their stuck points in a much more effective way with EMDR Intensives.

This is a different way of doing therapy, but after years of working with ambitious, high performing women, I realized the missing link was more time to move healing forward faster.

EMDR Intensives gives us that!

It’s a powerful experience — and you’re ready for it.

Why Choose an EMDR Intensive?

Faster Results:

Condense months of therapy into one focused session — clients report noticeable shifts after one intensive.

Deep, Targeted Healing:

Work intensively on the core beliefs and hurt that are holding you back. You deserve emotional freedom.

Flexible for Your Schedule:

One-time sessions designed to fit into your busy life, without long-term weekly commitments.

Culturally Relevant:

Frequently Asked Questions

Is One Intensive Enough?

Yes — EMDR Intensives are designed to create deep, focused progress in one dedicated block of time. We'11 choose either a 3-hour half-day or a full-day experience — and once complete, you’re done with therapy unless you opt for 90-minute ongoing support sessions.

It’s normal for it to feel scary to think "that's it?" — but often, you don't need months of therapy. You need to address the root issue, clear it, and then return to life to test out your new skills and mindset.

Intensives are built for women ready to heal and move forward.

Do You Accept Insurance?

Intensives are not covered by insurance because of their extended, customized structure. Its ideal for anyone who believes their time is their most precious resource and that their healing is a priority.

Some clients use their FSA/HSA accounts, and payment resources are accessible through resources like carecredit.com / Klarna.

Healing at this level is an investment — and many women say it’s one of the most important investments they’ve made in themselves.

What If I Have a Therapist?

In reaching your therapy goals, doing a combination of focused work via intensives AND ongoing weekly therapy could be beneficial. It is also okay if you don't have another therapist and just want to do an intensive (which is time limited and not on going therapy).

How Intense Are We Talking?

Not as scary as it sounds.  It’s “intensive” because we spend more time together on the issue (3 to 6 hours), but that doesn't mean it’s harder or heavier. The actual emotional intensity is not increased.

This condensed format allows you to quickly get into your healing journey without the interruptions of the standard once-a-week session model and life crisis. Most women leave feeling lighter, clearer, and if anything needing a good nap from the emotional lift.

Will This Be Overwhelming?

Great question — and no. EMDR Intensives are carefully structured with plenty of grounding, resourcing, and breaks.

You’re never rushed or forced to process more than you’re ready for.  The goal is to create a focused, contained space that feels safe — so you can do deep work without emotional overload.

What to Know About the Cost

When I reserve your Intensive, I will be reserving that entire block of time for working with you.  I charge a daily rate of $1,200/day. The half day rate is $600.  A 50% deposit will be required to confirm your Intensive reservation, and the remaining 50% will be paid on the day of the Intensive.

Deposits are fully non-refundable if the cancellation is made within 14 days of the scheduled Intensive.

If something comes up and you are unable to attend your Intensive, please contact me to discuss rescheduling. Rescheduling will not affect your deposit if the request to reschedule is made more than 14 days before your scheduled Intensive.

What If I Don't Live in NY?

I am licensed in New York - meaning you have to be located here when we do the intensive, but you do not need to live here.  Many clients fly in for several days, considering it a therapy retreat/intensive. I can do ½ day intensives online, but full and multi-day intensives are in person.
